The Dancing Lights – Northern lights chase

This northern lights chase will take you away from city lights to places where the northern lights are easier to see. You will be well guided by the company owner, Roy, who has over ten years experience in northern lights guiding.

We will do our best to find clear sky, the mother nature will decide about the northern lights activity. Anyway, because of the fact that we are located in the area where the propability to see this natural phenomenon is among the highest in the world, the chances to see them is pretty high. There use to be only a few tours during the season without any activity.

Northern lights chase from Tromsø by minibus with an experienced, local guide, Roy. We will drive through steep mountains and fjords to find clear skies and a nice location, where we can enjoy landscapes while waiting for the Lady Aurora. You can sit on a reindeerskin around campfire listening stories, barbequeing and tasting some local specialities. And the main of all, just enjoying staying outdoors and meeting new people.

Remember that if weather conditions are difficult, we might need to drive a lot, and then we do not have as much time to stay on main location. The most important for us is to do our best to find clear sky and in that way to give the possibility to see a glimpse of this wonderful natural phenomenon, The Northern Lights.

Our guide, Roy, has fifteen years experience with Northern Lights guiding and will share of his knowledge and tips. He is happy to help you with your camera as well.

Please bring: Passport in case we need to cross the border to Finland. Warm clothes. Wool socks are recommended.

Duration: from 6 to 8 hours, depending on the weather and the northern lights activity
